Behind the Camera

Well hi there! I'm Chasney Heck. You can call me Chaz. I'm 28 and like to create. I'm a barista and a photographer. I drink way too much coffee, and love anything to do with listening or playing music. I'm introverted and sometimes dorky and awkward.

My husband Bryan assists me at photoshoots and events, and is my second photographer when I need him.

Overall I am pretty laid back and I'm looking to work with peeps who just want to have fun and not take photos too seriously. I want to help you release the stress and awkwardness of taking photos and help you to be yourselves and be comfortable with who you are.

I have had a camera in my hand since I was in middle school and have been challenging and perfecting my skills ever since. I focus on the small details, quiet moments that may go unnoticed and most of all, I want to capture your love. I want to serve you and truly get to know what makes you, you.

During the entire process from booking to delivering the final product, I'm with you the entire way. My goal is to help you be comfortable in front of the camera. I know how nerve-wracking it can be. This is a no judgement zone here. I will help you break out of your shell. I'll be honest, even I hate my own photos taken. I can totally relate if you are feeling insecure. ( I tried really hard in that photo over there... HA)

All of my couples tell me they are not photogenic and camera shy. Then we start the photoshoot and they are so surprised how easy-breezy it was - and fun! So what do ya say? Let's give it a go.
